It will not be offered to OSPAP, Research, Pre-Sessional English, HIC, or/and online courses.
The scholarship will only be available on entry for the first time to the university and not in subsequent years.
The opportunity will be available for UG or PG-taught applicants – not for any preparatory programs or research.
The University of Hertfordshire Chancellor’s International Scholarship will only be available to applicants who are joining the university for the first time – not UH graduates or HIC graduates.
It should also be noted that the scholarships might be exceptionally offered at the university’s discretion on any of the above courses.
If interested, you should be aware that this scholarship is only available for the intake of September 2024 – applicants/students who fail to register will not be able to transfer the scholarships to subsequent sessions/intakes (unless agreed by the University of Hertfordshire).
It is worth noting that the applicants will not be able to qualify for any other types of scholarships or discounts including Early Bird Discount, Student Success Scholarship, 20% Herts Graduate Discount, UG Tri Annual Scholarship, or International Partner Discount alongside the Chancellor’s International Scholarship (unless exceptionally provided/awarded at the discretion of the university).
For the Full Payment Discount, applicants can qualify for it alongside the University of Hertfordshire Chancellor’s International Scholarship provided that they pay their fees in full by the 9^th of October 2024 for September A entry.
On the part of the applicants, they need to have applied to the university and have been conferred with a place to be eligible for the scholarship.
The scholarship (scholarship payment) will be administered as a deduction from applicants/students’ tuition fees once applicants/students register at the university – not from their deposit amount. If the applicants have paid their tuition fees in full, it can be used for the accommodation at the university (but not for the accommodation deposit which is £150, since it is a refundable deposit).
Applicants must have been provided with (offered) a place and they must have accepted the place on a full-time award-bearing University of Hertfordshire program and be paying the full cost of the tuition fees from their (own) resources directly to the university (University of Hertfordshire), and not discounted or sponsored for any part of the fee by the university (University of Hertfordshire) or organization like a charitable body, an employer or government department. It should be noted that any type of contribution offered by an external organization to the living costs of students, or a contribution from the family of the students to the fee or living expenses will not count as sponsorship under this scholarship scheme.
Before the scholarship is conferred, candidates will have to meet all registration conditions.
For students who withdraw (both student and university-initiated), all discounts would be adjusted based on pro-rata in line with the fee-relevant liability, and all scholarships or discounts will be subject to the terms and conditions of the scholarship/award.

Scholarship amounts will be variable ranging from £500 up to £4000. The scholarship will be offered to the applicants if they are eligible.
