Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme 2024 (Fully Funded)

The Government of the Republic of Mauritius is pleased to announce the scholarships for interested students who meet the eligibility requirements. The call for applications has been announced for the same. The Republic of Mauritius Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology (Tertiary Education and Scientific Research Division) invites applications for the Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme 2024 for which the application period is open now. Description and Eligibility Criteria for the Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme 2024

The fact remains that the Mauritius Government Scholarships have importance and students show their mammoth interest in the same. The Government of Mauritius offers these scholarships to deserving students who are resident citizens of member states of the African Union or African Commonwealth countries (according to the following criteria):

For undergraduate degree programs, the candidates should be above 18 years of age and should not have reached their 26^th birthday by 1^st January 2025.
For MPhil/PhD (doctorate) degree programs, the candidates should not have reached 40 years of age by 1^st January 2025.
Interested candidates must have submitted their applications for a full-time on-campus program (such as Degree, Diploma, MPhil, or PhD) at a public higher education institution located in Mauritius (which are listed in section 8 in the related guidelines for applicants) for the academic year commencing in 2024.
The scholarship (to be awarded to successful candidates) will be offered for the maximum duration as mentioned in the table (below) or the minimum course duration (whichever is lesser).

Associated Financial Benefits

If you become successful in gaining this opportunity, you will be offered fully funded scholarship. The awarded scholarship will provide support to successful applicants in meeting their tuition fees and contributing to their living expenditures during the study program in Mauritius. As a successful applicant, you will also be provided with the coverage of return airfare by the most economical route. The travel coverage will be valid for your travel from your home country of origin at the start of your studies and then back to your country of origin upon successful completion of your study program.
