Eligibility Criteria for CIRES Summer Internship Program 2022
- Those students, who are from colleges and groups historically underrepresented in science, are highly encouraged to submit their applications.
- No minimum GPA requirement, and there is no requirement of the prior research experience. Thus, all applicants will be given complete consideration.

Requirements to Follow
All applicants are required to submit unofficial transcripts. They are also required to ask a person who is familiar with academic or research background to fulfill a short recommendation form. For this year 2022, it has been planned for a fully remote program.
Financial Coverage for CIRES Summer Internship Program 2022
Under this scheme, up to 11 students will be selected. They will be paid to do research activities on environment and geoscience with CIRES and GSL scientists.
The Undergraduate Interns:
Will be paid $750 per week over the duration of 10 weeks (from May 23rd to July 29th).
The Graduate Interns:
Will be paid $1500 per week over the duration of 12 weeks (from May 23rd to August 19th)
Note: The selected students will be paid the above amounts biweekly. CIRES Summer 2022 Research Program is going to be completely remote because of the uncertainties (for complete details, visit the official page).
