The role is very important as it provides detailed, professional, and timely support and administration to Commonwealth Scholarship Commission Scholars and Fellows who are registered for postgraduate study programmes or professional development programmes at institutions/universities in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria

The holder of this post (vacancy) will act as the point of contact for scholars and a group of universities in the UK besides being responsible for handling all issues relevant to the scholars within their portfolio of institutions. An ideal candidate for this position should be equipped with the following requirements.

Degree educated or equivalent experience.
Related experience of working in the sector of higher education or an environment of educational office and/or in an international development context.
Fully conversant with an understanding of customer care and committed to providing exceptional customer care.
Possession of outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including a firm, confident, and amiable approach in discussions with individuals at different (various) levels of seniority.
Strong attention to detail.
Have shown a high level of motivation and flexibility, and can work to deadlines and ability to organize and take responsibility for own tasks (work) and for checking (seeing) tasks till completion.
Committed to teamwork with a dexterity to work solely (independently), and show initiative, and exercise sound judgment.
Must possess a higher level of proven competency in Microsoft Office Suit usage including Excel.
Have evidence of database skills and aptitude for using and learning different software packages.
