Aston University is pleased to announce seven scholarships under the scholarship programme called Ferguson Scholarships worth £10,500 exclusively available to students from Africa and India. The scholarships are available for the academic year 2024-2025.
Supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust, the trust is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for students who are not otherwise able to consider studying in the United Kingdom.

Eligibility Criteria for Aston University’s Ferguson Scholarship Programme
If you would like to apply for this marvelous opportunity in England, you need to meet the Ferguson scholarship requirements set for the applicants.
- For one of the above-mentioned courses, the applicants are required to hold a conditional or unconditional offer.
- The applicants should be nationals of African countries or India.
- They need to possess a 2:1 degree or its equivalent in a related subject for the course they are applying for.
- They are required to provide a strapping (strong) personal statement when they submit their course application.
- They should be self-funded students.
Note: If successful, the students will have to contribute their remaining outstanding value to their MSc tuition fees. Besides, they are also required to provide evidence to the UKVI that they can contribute this amount in addition to their living expenses.
