The candidates are advised to note that by accepting the Volte-Age Fellowship, they agree to decline all other awards/scholarships, research bursaries, and research assistantships previously offered to them for the same funding duration, with the following exceptions:

Student awards provided by FRQ (FRQNT, FRQSC, FRSQ)
Student awards provided by the Tri-agency (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR)
International Tuition Award of Excellence
Student awards offered by Mitacs
Research assistantships from Voltage grants
Research bursaries from Voltage grants
Teaching Assistantships
IBET Momentum Fellowship ($10,000 component)
International awards obtained from the home country
Concordia Black Student Excellence Doctoral Entrance Award ($10,000 component)

Process of Funding Disbursement

After the DNE date of each term, scholarship payments are issued within 5 working days once full-time registration is confirmed, unless otherwise specified in the candidates’ award notification
Payments are directly made to the candidates’ accounts and applied to outstanding tuition and fees. In case the credit balance remains in the account, the candidates might request a refund by cheque or Interac e-Transfer through their Student Centre
Cheques are mailed automatically to the candidates’ address on file within ten business days after they have requested their refund. Interac e-Transfer refunds are processed typically within ten business days
