It is the time to study in Canada at Seneca Polytechnic to obtain up to $5,000 in an entrance scholarship when the students begin a new study program in the upcoming sessions of January 2026, May 2026, or September 2026. The applicants may also be awarded an application fee credit.
It is worth noting that entrance scholarship amounts will be based on the number of years of study.
Eligibility Criteria for Seneca Polytechnic Scholarship for International Students
If you happen to be an international applicant, either presently in or outside Canada, and is applying to a full-time post secondary program, and confirm your Seneca program choice, you are eligible. You are eligible if you are titled as an international student who is:
- Paying overseas (international) tuition fees
- Presently studying in Canada and show interest in a second program or beginning one of Seneca’s bundled programs
- Obtaining or in the process of obtaining your OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma)
- Presently studying in Canada in an eligible English pathway program
- Presently studying at Seneca and applying for a new program
Note: The Seneca Polytechnic Entrance Scholarship is valid for all full-time post-secondary programs that begin in January 2026, May 2026, or September 2026. Those who confirm their Seneca program choice for a bundled program, or second program, the scholarship opportunity will be offered for each new program.

Financial Benefits
The candidates will get an entrance scholarship and receive a prioritized admission when they begin a new program at Seneca. The scholarship amount will be determined/based on the program’s length.
- One-Year Program – $2,000 (by the time the students confirm their program)
- Two-Year Program – $3,000 ($2,000 by the time the students confirm their program, $1,000 in year two)
- Three-Year Program – $4,000 ($2,000 by the time the students confirm their program, $1,000 in years two and three)
- Four-Year Program – $5,000 ($2,000 by the time the students confirm their program, $1,000 in years two, three, and four)
Application Process for Seneca Polytechnic Entrance Scholarships
Students or applicants will qualify automatically for this entrance scholarship provided that they meet the eligibility requirements. The following is the process:
- The students need to confirm their offer of admission to a full-time program at Seneca through the official international web application
- They are required to pay the CAD$90 application fee when they apply. The amount will be credited to their student account after day 10 of the term, should they confirm their offer, pay their fees, and enroll.
- Upload a valid study permit or their LOI (Letter of Introduction) at the time of application, if they apply within Canada
- They are required to confirm their admission offer, pay at least $2,000 tuition deposit, and they will receive their LOA (Letter of Acceptance) and Provincial Attestation Letter (if applicable) from Seneca
- Students are advised to pay their fees by the due date in the fee notice to secure their spot
- They should also complete any remaining steps to enroll at Seneca
