Since these awards (admissions awards) have been launched to meet several student needs, there are different criteria for eligibility, such as extracurricular activities, community involvement, financial need, or academic achievement. Interested students can fill out the application and they will be required to provide supporting documents to be considered for one of the awards (scholarships).

SMU Scholarship Requirements

Applicants must be new students entering an undergraduate degree program at the university directly from high school.
They must have a completed undergraduate application and be accepted (or admissible) by 15^th February 2025.

Deadline for Application and Awarding Decisions

The application period for 2025 admission awards opened on 1^st November 2024 and will last till 15^th February 2025. Late applications will not be considered. It must be noted that if the same candidate applied more than once, the university will use the most recently submitted application of the candidate.
