- Show evidence of active involvement in and their commitment to voluntary work for the benefits of causes like urban or rural community development, young people, or projects based on education, health, or AIDS awareness projects, charitable organizations, student welfare or guidance, the promotion of equal opportunities or social justice, the defence of human rights, and environmental sustainability. Those holding a paid job that involves working in these areas, they are required to show evidence of leadership and commitment beyond the job requirements

- Tuition fee full payment
- Stipend for living costs in terms of 12 monthly payments
- One return airfare from the candidate’s home country to the United Kingdom, and the cost of the candidate’s return travel between the United Kingdom airport and Durham City
- Fully funded meals at St. Chad’s College and fully funded accommodation
- On arrival, there will be a settling-in allowance
- UK visa cost payment and the payment for the UK health surcharge
