Course Description

This fellowship is a nine-month online program designed for physicians involved in stroke care. It will focus on training neurologists who can supervise, lead, and enhance stroke services across various levels of the healthcare system.

Participants of the program will deepen their knowledge and understanding of cerebrovascular disease, master evidence-based acute and preventive management. They will get the skills required to develop and optimize units and systems of care.

Duration of the Fellowship

  • Total duration: 9 months
  • Proposed beginning date: 1st February 2026
  • Longitudinal case discussions and modular content will be distributed across the fellowship period

Program Structure (Methodology)

  • The blended learning model will be used
  • Self-directed asynchronous study will be used with recorded lectures, assignments, and self-paced modules
  • There will be live, interactive online sessions for case discussions per week. Besides, questions and answers, plus feedback, will be used
  • Module-based progression with a typical workload of around 2-4 hours weekly will take place
  • Participants will get formative and summative assessments (quizzes, pre-tests, and post-tests) within each module
