The early payment discount is offered to undergraduate and postgraduate taught international students joining the university in the upcoming January 2026 session. EPD – the Early Payment Discount will be provided to new students who pay their deposits by 31st October 2025 for January 2026. The offered discount will be applied to the full fees.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered and eligible for the EPD, the applicants must:
- Be an overseas (international) student with ‘overseas’ fee status
- Have paid their due deposit or will pay their deposit by 31st October 2025 for the January 2026 session
- Be self-funded students (they must not be the recipients of any scholarships)
- Be accepted and enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree program at the Newcastle Upon Tyne Campus
- Meet all individual requirements
Financial Benefits
Students who pay their deposits by 31st October 2025 for the January 2026 intake will be eligible for a GBP 500 tuition fee discount. This discount will apply to the full fees.
Important Information
- This discount is offered to new students for the January 2026 intake. Continuing students are not eligible
- Those who have deferred and paid their deposit before deferral will not be eligible
- A student who has transferred or will transfer the fees by the above date, but has not yet been credited to the university, will also receive the discount
- Students who enroll in courses that are not eligible for international country scholarships are eligible for the EPD, including advanced practice courses
- Early payment discount will be conferred in addition to the PGT/UG country scholarships and alumni discount
- This discount opportunity is not for overseas students on undergraduate level (courses) delivered with the international soccer academy (i2i)
- The discount facility will not be available to students studying abroad
- Distance learning students are not eligible for the discount
- Besides, international year one (pathways) and international foundation program students are also not eligible
- Those applicants who have already paid or will pay the full or 50% fees are also eligible for EPD
- Those students who are willing to pay additional funds to ensure they pay 50% or full fees by the specified deadlines are also eligible for EPD
- At any point, the university reserves the right to withdraw
- It is essential to note that the university’s decision is final and cannot be challenged. Students will not have any right of appeal
