Eligibility Criteria for MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship
If you would like to apply for the MPOWER Scholarship, you need to meet the eligibility standards mentioned ahead.
The applicants need to be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at a United States or Canadian institute that MPOWER supports, and
The applicants should be international students allowed to study legally in the United States or Canada, as applicable.
To study in the United States, the applicant should meet one of the following criteria:
- Holding a valid visa that allows study in the U.S.
- The applicant is protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
- The applicant is a United States permanent resident (Green Card holder)
To study in Canada, the applicant should meet one of the following criteria:
- The applicant is a Canadian permanent resident
- Holding a valid study permit of Canada
Note: United States citizens who wish to study in the United States and Canadian citizens who wish to study in Canada are not eligible for this scholarship scheme.
