The funding facility is open and available under IZU Doctoral Programs. The university provides academic training scholarships to 15 doctoral students. Successful candidates will receive higher coverage for their PhD studies. All doctoral programs are available under this funding scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for IZU Doctoral Programs

The candidates should apply for a doctoral program at IZU.
They must not be employed in any job and need to provide documentation for it.
They must be willing to take part in full-time in the university’s teaching educational, and research activities.
The candidates must have a minimum score of 80 from the ALES, 156 from the GRE, or 590 from the GMAT. As far as international (foreign) students are concerned, they are not required to have ALES, GRE, or GMAT scores. However, if they do possess GMAT or GRE scores, these will be converted to ALES scores for their evaluation.
Their undergraduate GPA should be a minimum of 3.00 out of 4.00 and a minimum graduate GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00.

For programs in Turkish, the candidates have to have at least a score of 70 from YDS/YÖKDİL or an equivalent international foreign language score that is accepted by ÖSYM in the related foreign language. For those programs that are held partially or wholly in a foreign language, the candidates need to have at least an 80 score from YDS/YÖKDİL or an equivalent international foreign language score that is accepted by ÖSYM in the related foreign language.

Duration of Scholarship

The normal duration of the study (doctoral program) will be 4 years.

Financial Benefits Under IZU Doctoral Programs Academic Training Scholarship

Successful candidates will receive coverage for tuition fees and meal fees.
They will get mandatory general health insurance.
Accommodation and meal fees will be provided if students stay in dormitories or IZU guesthouses affiliated with the founding foundation.
25000 TL scholarship amount will be offered.

Note: A total of 15 scholarships will be granted – 10 from the sciences and 5 from the social sciences. All doctoral programs are available. To use academic training scholarships, the students are required to be accepted into the applied program and enroll in the related program.
