- Successful achievement of university’s entry requirements – £3,000
- Achievement of an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK first-class degree – £5,000
Terms and Conditions for International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship
- Applicants have to be classified as international students for fee purposes.
- They need to start a full-time campus-based Master’s program or PGCE starting in January 2025 or April 2025.
- For each year of the course, the fee discount will be calculated based on the standard tuition fee.
- This scholarship will not apply for periods of industrial placement or foreign (overseas) exchange, resit year, or if they suspend their studies for any kind of reason.
- According to the guidelines of the scholarship, students will be allowed to hold only one scholarship offered by the University of Leicester. If the students are offered more than one scholarship, they will only obtain the higher value award.
- If the applicants presently have a conditional offer of a place at the university, they will still need to fulfill any conditions mentioned in their offer letter.
