Financial Assistance
Several scholarship opportunities are offered by the institution for students interested in doing bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Several options of financial aids are offered by ICCI to students wishing to study there. Institutional financial assistance is provided through local benefactors. The funds are offered in three categories to ICCI students who qualify based on quarterly funding (as funding permits).
Three types of institutional financial assistance (scholarships) ranging between $100.00 to $800.00 per quarter are available to students who qualify when funding permits, namely scholarships, grants, and grants-in-aid (work study).
Available Scholarships
The first category, ‘scholarships’, is a financial gift to a student. The reason for the scholarship is the student’s performance in the educational program (study program) of the institution. To be awarded the scholarship for the quarter, students are required to have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (CGPA). The recipient of the scholarship will receive a minimum amount of $100.00 and the maximum is $500.00 per quarter. There are numerous factors taken into consideration for this award, including performance, the amount requested, the number of classes being taken, and the number of applications received. Interested applicants need to submit the scholarship applications each quarter.
Available Grants
These are gifts of money offered to students in need of financial help and believed capable of meeting academic requirements. Those who would like to receive the grant awards for the quarter, the applicants must have a 2.0 CGPA. The minimum amount will be $100.00, and the maximum is $800.00 per quarter. There are several factors to be taken into consideration for the grants, including the performance of the students, the requested amount, and the number of classes taken by the students, in addition to the number of applications received. Like scholarships, the grants are not repaid. Interested students should submit their applications each quarter.
Grants-in-Aid (Work Study)
This opportunity of work-study is conferred to students who need financial help and are willing to perform work assignments on campus. Remember, there will be no cash payment for grants-in-aid. The students will receive credit in their accounts instead. For qualifying for this work-study opportunity, students need to perform their duties satisfactorily and they need to maintain a CGPA of 2.0 for undergraduate, and a 3.0 CGPA for graduate students. The awarded amount will be determined by the hours worked and the kind of work being performed. There is no repayment for this opportunity, and only monies are applied directly to the student’s account.
