Eligibility Criteria for the Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy Grant Application

Available Grants

For successful candidates, there are attractive research grants available under the Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy Grant Application. On merit, the grants are solely based. Each grant is worth a total amount of $10,000. The candidates will be offered $7,500 initially, and upon completion of the project, the remaining $2,500 will be awarded.  Remember, for grant recipients to be entitled to their second installment, they have to provide evidence of one of the below-mentioned things:

  • Their dissertation’s acceptance and approval.
  • An article’s acceptance based on the research by a peer-reviewed journal, or
  • Based on the research, an invitation to write and publish a book chapter.

Thus, the recipients of the grants have 5 years from the announcement of the award to complete their project and then claim their final payment of the award. Awards are made to the recipients/applicants, not to their universities.

Deadline for Application Submission
