The HUB now requires the Startup Support Management Trainee on a contract basis.

Purpose of Job

The management trainee is required. The HUB has designed the role of the trainee to equip them with critical management skills and deep organizational knowledge, fostering a culture of continual learning and development. The trainees in this program will contribute to ensuring swift management transitions aligned with the company’s succession planning efforts.

There will be a contract signed between the trainees and the company that will last for a 24-month fixed term period. The position might require the trainees to travel based on program/project needs.

Responsibilities of the Startup Management Trainee

·      As a trainee, you will need to provide strategic initiative support. You will work closely with the managing partner for designing and implementing strategic startup support initiatives and programs.

·      You will also provide project support by designing templates, toolkits, and other resources to support growth plans around strategies for products, distribution, and partnerships for startups in incubation and acceleration programs. You will support in conducting research trends in the industry, and market dynamics. Besides, you will provide insights plus recommendations for portfolio companies based on available data.

·      You will be responsible for thought leadership. You will curate pivotal areas of the company’s work in startup support with opportunities for supporting managing partners, thought leadership, practice leads, communications team, and program managers to create blogs and articles, etc.

·      There will be stakeholder engagement. You will identify and manage engagements with potential stakeholders and partners.

Qualification of the Candidates

·      The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, finance, or a relevant field.

·      4 to 6 years of working experience in the startup ecosystem on incubation/acceleration programs, portfolio management, innovation programs, venture support, etc. is required.

·      The candidate must have a data-driven perspective on the state of the startup ecosystem, innovative perspectives, current opportunities, and challenges to build the ecosystem’s future.

·      The applicant should possess the ability to analyze financial statements, business plans, and market trends.

·      An experience in creating and designing learning content for novel programs, training, and workshops.

·      The candidate must have a passion for startups, technology, and innovation with an understanding of the ecosystem’s technology.

Note: It is a fully onsite role in any of the company’s office locations.
