Abu Dhabi University Merit-Based Graduate Scholarship – Details

For merit-based graduate scholarship, the applicants with an undergraduate CGPA of at least 3.5 (or equivalent) who pursue their postgraduate degrees at ADU are entitled to a 25% waiver on their tuition fees.

Eligibility and Rules & Regulations
- For those candidates who want to maintain the waiver, at least a CGPA of 3.5 in the master’s level program is required. Let’s now find out the rules and regulations.
- If there is a situation where a student qualifies for more than one postgraduate waiver program, the student has to select one waiver program and will not be permitted to change to another waiver program during the entire study program
- Besides, if any semester where the minimum required CGPA is not met, the student will lose the waiver for the upcoming (following) semester. Therefore, if the student’s CGPA reaches the minimum required level again, the waiver will be reinstated automatically
- Any student who is found guilty of a code of conduct violation or any academic integrity offence will forfeit the waiver for the remaining study at Abu Dhabi University
- Winter and summer terms will be covered under the merit-based tuition waiver
- Remember, the scholarship (merit-based tuition waiver) will not cover any repeated courses, including grades F, WA, and W
Financial Coverage
There is a financial coverage in the form of a merit-based scholarship available under the Abu Dhabi University Merit-Based Scholarship. It is worth noting that the maximum coverage available for scholarship is 4 years, or upon graduation, whichever happens first.
