Eligibility Criteria for ESRC Studentships

There is no doubt about the fact that ESRC studentships are very competitive, thus, the candidates are required to possess an outstanding academic background in the field of social sciences carrying a first or strong upper-second-class degree.

Those having a related research training Masters program (or possessing an equivalent background in research training) will be taken into consideration for a +3 award. As far as Wales DTP studentships are concerned, they will be available to both international (including the students from EEA and EU) and home students. All students will be considered eligible for a full scholarship containing a maintenance stipend plus tuition fee payment at the United Kingdom research organization rate.
